Out of the 3 systems PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii ... I'd definitely go with Xbox! There is a larger library of games to choose from. The online set up is far superior to the competition and the system is really geared towards the online community. The system is just more fun imo.
A few of friends on xbox have all 3 systems and they tell me that they play their xbox way more than the other 2. Wii is fun but more suited to playing with a group of people. Its a great thing to have if you frequently hang out with friends or guests but xbox is just the better all around system.
Also PS3 has done so poorly in sales some major companies like Activision for example are considering no longer making games for Sony.I am buying xbox 360 give me some advice about it.?
If you're going to buy a 360 you should either buy the arcade or the elite. (My preferrence is the elite, but it is a little pricey) The 360 has a lot of great games out now. However if you have looked at the ps3 they will have great games coming out later this year. Also ps3 has built in wifi (if that is a concern of yours) Also they 360s tend to break down more. But again 360s are slightly cheaper.
Well I'll give you some details about each of the 3.
Arcade:
1) comes with no hard drive but comes with a memory card
2) Don't expect to get full 1080p with the Standard components. And I wouldn't buy a 60$ HDMI cable or the HD components when you can just get the HD components and a hard drive with the Xbox 360 pro
3) I wouldn't want to buy a hard drive... So overall I don't like this 360.
Xbox 360 Pro:
1) Comes with the: Consol, Wireless controller, 60gb hard drive, a network cable, standard %26amp; Hd cables, Silver Xbox Live membership, can play both Xbox and Xbox 360 games!!!
2)Expect at lease Hd with your games even though the pro doesn't come with an HDMI cable.
Xbox 360 Elite:
1) Comes with: consol, wireless controller, 120gb hard drive!!!, Black Xbox Live head set, network cable, standard/hd cables, and an HDMI output (or cable), Silver xbox live membership I think, and can play all xbox and all xbox 360 games just like the pro.
2)expect to get full 1080p with that HDMI cable with the elite. but you'll still get 1080p with the hd components on the pro too. But make sure you have an Hdtv in your house.
So go with either the Pro or the Elite. It mostly depends on how much gaming and how much memory you are going to use. I'm about to get a 360 pro!!! Happy Gaming/ Shopping!!!!
with the xbox360 u have a wide expansion of games most are online compatible with a xboxlive membership you will get to download add ons maps demos movies songs etc. i wouldnt neccesiraly go with a wii most people i know that have them dont like them there arent many games for it either it has an online play option but it isnt much with the ps3 you have many options to many to name actually you get the ps3 home which is an online world in a way its kind of like a sims game only cooler. you can download pics from a camera and things like that im an owner of both the ps3 and 360 both are great i would go for the 360 as a first console then if you can id get the ps3

CONS:
- no blu-ray player
- not the fastest processor(s) overall
- annoying licensing connects purchases to specific console
- wifi add-on and xbox live are extra costs
