I need a little advice about my tax's?
i did my taxes online(for the first time by myself)usally we will go to HandR block and get them done. anyways, i decided this year to do somthing diferent. plus my best friend had done them at the same place. i went to this web site: citizentax.com and everything was going good til i messed something up. i had gotten so flustered that i didnt realize i had just submitted my federal taxes with the whole form blank, only my husbands and i s.s numbers!!! tryed canceling everything, i thought everything was fine and the next day, i had my best friend re-do my federal, well now the irs thinks someone is using our s.s numbers and i have to sign and send them in and call and explain the whole situation, i mean i dont mind all that. i guess i feel so stupid for trying to do something by myself and doubting me so much that i think im wrong when really im not and now im stuck.....what to do and am i the only one?what should i do for next year?I need a little advice about my tax's?

You need to treat the root cause of your drug use. It could be pain avoidance, boredom, depression or any number of other conditions or disorders. You can only do this threw therapy. It's a bummer, but it's the only way. Don't be down about rehab not working before, 90% of addicts fail the first time around. It's an everyday responsibility and every day is a new opportunity to stay sober.

It's not worth the risk that you might get hooked.
In your case, I would leave the country or at least find an extremely remote place in this country where you couldn't possibly get your hands on something that could get you high.
I'd stay there for at least a year.
This will give you a huge upper hand on the addiction, making it much easier to say no if you end up around drugs again.
It's an extreme solution, but that's exactly what you need.
Think about it this way- how will you feel in 20 years if you look back and all you see is a hazy journey from one fix to another? It's all the same boring stuff when you get down to it. Drugs may seem to feel good while doing them, but they are a total avoidance of life.
You'd be much happier in 20 years to look back and see that you'd accomplished something- quitting drugs for starters, finding love, starting a family, doing a job that is meaningful to you.

Addiction is not a pill, or a drink, it's a lifestyle. with every one playing a specific role. Rehab doesn't work, because it ends. Not to wave the AA flag, but one reason it works is because they talk to each other for years, they have free meetings all over the world. It's a lifestyle.

You can walk around for hours in the cold and or rain putting catalogues through doors. A lot of the people bin them. They don't put them out as asked on the leaflet. You have to pay to replace them. The odd one or two that do order don't make you much money.
The big money that is made by a few will not come your way unless you give your whole life to it and build up a downline. It is multi level marketing. A bit like pyramid selling but legal.

I have been to some of the conferences and it is such a fantastic atmosphere, there are so many awards for your achievements, support and its fail-safe. It works as long as you are prepared to put in the work. I am joining as soon as I move out.

Where i live we have a long time Betterware agent - who still does not get much business. In the last year there have been 2 Kleeneze agents who i think get virtually no business. I think it very much depends upon the area you operate in.
they don't have any set territory so basically you could put in 40 hours a week and get no orders. do betterware it's the same thing except you get your own territory, all the orders from your area go to you.
It's not great , it is impossible to make a good living...basically you're selling stuff that no one needs and we're in a credit crunch.
Their products are overpriced crap.
The agents round here seem to change every other month

Also, you need the poem to have a better flow. the forth line has only two words (three syllables) but line six has ten words (not counting the is and will in the contractions), which doesn't flow that well. I think for this poem you should try to keep it around six words, so it flows. Though, the thing is, the idea, is very cute, and needs to be rewritten just a bit.

I have a small annuity. In 5 months I will be 59-1/2 The company informed me that I can take a yearly payout. The amount is very small $500 on $5000. There are two choices and I want to know the best choice:
a) Take the payout in cash over 9 years and pay 20% fed tax each year
or
b) Roll the payout into an IRA over a 9 year period.
Note: I am a fatalist. I don't have children or husband and the company told me should I die the money goes back to the company.

Worried about my fathers health any advice please?
my father has been in and out of the hospital since 2005
due to stomach tumors,infections,hip and spine surgery
just today he was taken to the hospital which we thought might have been pneumonia but now they say it might be much more

Growing up I was always a daddy's girl. To me he was my super man and no one could ever break him. Now that I am an adult, all his poor habits from when I was younger is now starting to kick him BAD. In 2005 I moved from California to Iowa to start a new life for myself. As a result, I lost most contact with my family. My mother decided to leave my daddy and my daddy went down hill fast bringing my little brother down with him. My dad gave up on life and so did my baby brother. As a result, my super man aged dramatically, lost 60+ lbs within a months time, cant eat anything without throwing up, and my brother has gained so much weight that now hes about 600 lbs. I heard about what was going on and forced them to move here with me to Iowa. The medical is amazing compared to anywhere I have ever seen and they actually care. My father and brother have been here now for 1 week and 3 days. When I first hugged my daddy I thought I was going to break him because he was so weak. I am now feeling like I am a mommy to not only my 1 yr old son, but now to a 58 yr old man and a 21 yr old man. Its very straining on myself considering I dont make much money and now I have to take care of them. In a way I wouldnt have it any other way cuz they are my family and theres no one else I would trust to do this job to get my daddy healthy... I am so scared to see my daddy so sick. I can only imagine how u feel.
My advice to you is this:
Be there for your dad. Get answers from the doctors. Dont let them screw around with guessing games. If they so and you allow them too then its no ones life but his that is being messed with. Its going to be a long journey but you have to make yourself and will yourself into being strong. You know that your daddy does not mean to be sick... but by him seeing you so stressed and upset will not make him better so say the stressing for when you are alone... it wont do anyone any good. Look at him as though he is still your whole world and look past his health and see the old dad that you remember hold you and playing with you. Thats the dad he wants to be and thats the dad that he still is... its just hiding behind a mask of bad health!Worried about my fathers health any advice please?

Whether he makes it through this or not, just make every day count. Express your love, do the things that he will be proud of, appreciate all that he has taught you, take care of yourself and your mother, and also, make sure that others who he has positively impacted in the past are alerted to his condition so that they have an opportunity to express their gratitude before it's too late. If he survives this, then it will still have been a great thing, because most people never hear how much they were appreciated - it's recited at the funeral - too late.
I know this is very hard for you. My mom has been sick as well. I have found that I really need to not worry until there is something to worry about. Hopefully it is something that can be taken care of right away. I will be praying for you and your father. God Bless.

Growing up I was always a daddy's girl. To me he was my super man and no one could ever break him. Now that I am an adult, all his poor habits from when I was younger is now starting to kick him BAD. In 2005 I moved from California to Iowa to start a new life for myself. As a result, I lost most contact with my family. My mother decided to leave my daddy and my daddy went down hill fast bringing my little brother down with him. My dad gave up on life and so did my baby brother. As a result, my super man aged dramatically, lost 60+ lbs within a months time, cant eat anything without throwing up, and my brother has gained so much weight that now hes about 600 lbs. I heard about what was going on and forced them to move here with me to Iowa. The medical is amazing compared to anywhere I have ever seen and they actually care. My father and brother have been here now for 1 week and 3 days. When I first hugged my daddy I thought I was going to break him because he was so weak. I am now feeling like I am a mommy to not only my 1 yr old son, but now to a 58 yr old man and a 21 yr old man. Its very straining on myself considering I dont make much money and now I have to take care of them. In a way I wouldnt have it any other way cuz they are my family and theres no one else I would trust to do this job to get my daddy healthy... I am so scared to see my daddy so sick. I can only imagine how u feel.
My advice to you is this:
Be there for your dad. Get answers from the doctors. Dont let them screw around with guessing games. If they so and you allow them too then its no ones life but his that is being messed with. Its going to be a long journey but you have to make yourself and will yourself into being strong. You know that your daddy does not mean to be sick... but by him seeing you so stressed and upset will not make him better so say the stressing for when you are alone... it wont do anyone any good. Look at him as though he is still your whole world and look past his health and see the old dad that you remember hold you and playing with you. Thats the dad he wants to be and thats the dad that he still is... its just hiding behind a mask of bad health!Worried about my fathers health any advice please?

Whether he makes it through this or not, just make every day count. Express your love, do the things that he will be proud of, appreciate all that he has taught you, take care of yourself and your mother, and also, make sure that others who he has positively impacted in the past are alerted to his condition so that they have an opportunity to express their gratitude before it's too late. If he survives this, then it will still have been a great thing, because most people never hear how much they were appreciated - it's recited at the funeral - too late.
I know this is very hard for you. My mom has been sick as well. I have found that I really need to not worry until there is something to worry about. Hopefully it is something that can be taken care of right away. I will be praying for you and your father. God Bless.
Some people are more prone to illness than others and some infections really make it hard to get up and be as active as they once were... just keep trying to help and support both parents. Hope in time he is able to gain the strength to fight the illness that continue to present....

Legal Advice about Payable On Death Issue?
I had a checking account at a bank and my friends kids were listed as Payble On Death. The account overdrew some $800 and they charged it off. It was due to fraud and I'm still fighting it. My friends took their kids there to open an account and they were listed as co-owners of the account. I signed them up as POD not as joint owners. The bank siezed their sons money and was going to do the same to the daughter but they caught it in time. They were told they had to file a police report against me for Identity Theft. I didn't steal anything. They were listed as payable on death not joint owners. Can they legally do this? Change the childrens status on the account and seize thier money. If you're going to buy a 360 you should either buy the arcade or the elite. (My preferrence is the elite, but it is a little pricey) The 360 has a lot of great games out now. However if you have looked at the ps3 they will have great games coming out later this year. Also ps3 has built in wifi (if that is a concern of yours) Also they 360s tend to break down more. But again 360s are slightly cheaper.
Well I'll give you some details about each of the 3.
Arcade:
1) comes with no hard drive but comes with a memory card
2) Don't expect to get full 1080p with the Standard components. And I wouldn't buy a 60$ HDMI cable or the HD components when you can just get the HD components and a hard drive with the Xbox 360 pro

Hey, I am a freshman math major. I was wondering if you guys had any ideas for getting into a strong math graduate school, such as MIT or Princeton. I understand that a genuine passion in math, along with strong recommendations, grades, and GRE scores are not enough nowadays. Any ideas would be appreciated, thank you.Advice for an undergraduate math major about graduate school?
Get involved in undergraduate research. In addition to possibly doing something with the faculty where you're in school, there are lots of summer programs called REUs (research experiences for undergrads) around the country that pay you to do new math with other students for six to nine weeks of the summer. The MAA, the AMS, and the NSF list these things (just Google ';reu math'; and web pages from those organizations should be near the top.) Some of these have prerequisites you may not have taken yet, but it's worth looking.
There are also special study abroad programs for math majors that help a lot by both providing classes not usually available to undergrads and networking with other good students. The best known is the Budapest Semester in Math. Penn State has something similar (although less exotic) called MASS (math advanced study semesters).
Another way to distinguish yourself would be through taking the Putnam Exam offered each year and doing more than one of the eight problems (they're really hard). Some colleges have Putnam study programs, but if yours doesn't, ask around and see if somewhere nearby does.Advice for an undergraduate math major about graduate school?

Two individual parts come together and evolve together to form a successful relationship...be leary of those that want her to conform into something she's not. Her mate should love her for who she is and what she can teach him..not for what he thinks he can make her.
Take things one step at a time and at your own pace. Don't ever do anything that you will regret and are not ready for. Most of all trust yourself. Contacts are very comfortable and easy to use! You can use them in the water if you are very very very careful. (like don't open your eyes underwater)

Period and other advice about my body;?
So I don't know how to fix what I have. I'm pretty constipated all the time except when I get my period. Once I get my period everything comes out ok. This has been happening for about 6 months now. I'm 24 weeks pregnant,just got a job (july 21,2008 as cashier at a grocery store) temp/part-time. For the last week or so i've been getting contractions,which is a bad sign,b/c it's way too early. My fiance and his mother wants me to stop working and rest 'till i give birth, but the thing is, I just got this job and it will look bad on my history,but then i also want a healthy baby boy. I have off work today,and plan on calling the ob/gyn office to talk to a nurse and see what their advice is. But i really don't know what to do, i want to leave but then i don't, i hope you understand why. My fiance's mother she yelled at me saying ';I TOLD YOU NOT TO WORK'; and now my fiance is starting to say that. I thought if i get a job that brings in more money and helps us out,and gets me out of the house for awhile,but instead i get yelled at and start getting contraction's. But what's your advice?I don't know what to do,what's your advice about this?

Please do see your GYN and give up the job for now. Enjoy your baby!

So I'm 23 year old guy and I don't have a reason to be afraid of this, but somehow getting a tooth pulled is as scary to get as getting a finger cut off. Does anybody have any comforting words or advice?Nervous about getting a tooth pulled, any advice?
I always get freaked out when I have to have dental stuff done. It's like...nails on a chalkboard only a lot worse! Usually after I have had a tooth pulled, I'm like ';that wasn't so bad';. It's not the pain that I'm afraid of..and it's entirely irrational. You won't feel any pain.
The best thing I can think to do (because I am in the same boat right now, I have to have a tooth pulled this Friday, but probably won't have the money to do it and I have a HORRIBLE toothache right now!!!) is to try not to think about it, and keep very busy until the last minute. Laughing gas helps, but when I've had it, it made me dizzy and a little freaked out. If you have a nice dentist, you could let him know how afraid you are and ask him to write you a script for one benzodiazepam (valium, klonapin, diazepam, or xanax) to take before the appointment.Nervous about getting a tooth pulled, any advice?
Hi, I had to get four teeth pulled before I get my braces. There is nothing to worry about. They give you a shot of Novocaine and it numbs your mouth and you can't feel anything except a little bit of tugging. You can ask your dentist if there is anything you can take to comfort you when they pull out the tooth. I was nervous also until I felt it wasn't so bad after all. I was stressing over nothing. Don't sweat it. Just ask if they have anything you can take to comfort you. Hope this helped (: .:Jazzy:.

I've found Skype really good. You can download it free from the net. Just get a headset with earphones and a mic. I bought a Skype starter pack for $10 in Dick Smith that had the headset and a starter disk (but the software was old and had to be updated online anyway). Also get a webcam. You can get them in the stores starting from about $40. I bought this cute 'Hello kitty' one on ebay from China for less than $20, including postage and it works fine. I'm in Sydney, my brother is in London. We just organise a time via email and then one calls the other via Skype and we can talk free for hours. I was even able to see his appartment as he walked around it with the webcam (and wireless internet on his laptop). My kids show him their dances. It's great.

I've found Skype really good. You can download it free from the net. Just get a headset with earphones and a mic. I bought a Skype starter pack for $10 in Dick Smith that had the headset and a starter disk (but the software was old and had to be updated online anyway). Also get a webcam. You can get them in the stores starting from about $40. I bought this cute 'Hello kitty' one on ebay from China for less than $20, including postage and it works fine. I'm in Sydney, my brother is in London. We just organise a time via email and then one calls the other via Skype and we can talk free for hours. I was even able to see his appartment as he walked around it with the webcam (and wireless internet on his laptop). My kids show him their dances. It's great.

If you haven't already, create a myspace or facebook account to stay in touch. OR exchange phone numbers and set out a time to talk each week. Its hard living away from your best friend...I'm going through that now, but we always keep in touch...but if you work hard at the friendship, everything should be fine.
You are living in the age designed for communication. If you are close best buds, you have nothing to worry about. My buddy and I are lucky enuf to have cell phones from the same carrier, making our calls to each other free, and thats nice. Also, we have free texting. Most universities supply laptops now I guess, and that means quick notes back and forth. You'll be fine. And it's only temporary. True Best Friends can make it through everything, and all it does is make the bond stronger.

Does your friend have a cell phone? If she does, you could get her number and call her or she may have a laptop and you could communicate with her by e-mail, MySpace, or Facebook or something.

Hey, it's the age of the internet. Keep in touch with myspace and email and messenger. Believe it or not, the time apart will hardly matter in the grand scheme of things, as long as you two are true friends.

You can chat with her on myspace, facebook, AIM instant messenger, yahoo messenger, e-mail or on the phone. If you talk on the phone use your cell if you have one and talk during peek hours when it's free. You could even send her old fashion hand written letters!!! She might enjoy seeing something come in the mail while she's away at school. You two should also make plans to visit each other sometimes as well. I had a friend once move away and we lost touch. That was over 10 years ago when technology wasn't like it is now. I actually saw her on myspace and I plan on getting in touch with her that way!! Good luck and keep the friendship alive!!!
