Need advice about electonic stores in NY?

now if anybody knows the radisson inn can u plz tell me the electronic shops in that area nd preferably if its a nt vry expensive place nd also if anybody knows that mp3 can u tell if its good and how much is it?

oh nd i know that there's sth called ';the radio and music hall'; is it a good place to buy it from or wht?

thnx in advanceNeed advice about electonic stores in NY?
First of all, The Radisson on 32nd or The Radisson on Lexington?

And are you asking about buying an MP3 player?

But honestly, no matter which hotel it is, i would probably just go to a chain store, not one of the electronic stores in Midtown. You aren't going to get a warranty or anything from alot of the random electronic stores (especially if it seems like everything is at a discount); if it breaks, you have no recourse.

You don't mean Radio City Music Hall, like on 6th avenue at Rockefeller Center, do you? Because that is a theater, not a store.

I'm looking to invest about $40K any advice?

I came into some money recently and I'm looking to invest about 40K. I'm 17 years old and will be using at least some for college but I want to get some return on the money before then and with any left over. Right now it's in a joint account with my grandmother (now deceased) and myself. It's a CD only getting 2.7% interest. What would you recommend?I'm looking to invest about $40K any advice?
This depends on your tolerance for risk. While you're young you have the ability to take risk, however you say that you will be using some of it for college. Whatever you absolutely need for college you should keep in a low risk account.

The others seem to be recommending a purchase of real estate. However, at your age I don't know if that's a wise decision. If you're thinking of buying a home (getting a loan for the balance and paying part of it as a down payment), you should know that since you have no credit history you'll get a fairly bad rate on the loan. Even if you rent out a home, you'd have to keep a fairly big reserve in case the home ended up being vacant for a while. This ties up your money into a not very liquid investment, and you'll need it in a year or two for college.

Although possibly the best return on your money in the long run would be a well diversified portfolio of about 20 stocks, at 17 I don't think you have the expertise quite yet to do something like that.

I recommend a good money market account, or a mutual fund. A savings account like www.citibank.com will give you a little over 5% interest, and is risk free as it is insured by the government.

I would say the goal here is to protect your money for college, earn a little interest (you could earn $2000/year with that much), and when you're properly educated/experienced in/after college you can take the money and make a more serious investment in either stocks or real estate.I'm looking to invest about $40K any advice?
Hi John,

Your best investment with the highest return right now (around 12%intrest) is fast loans on short term real estate. The best way is to go to a good mortgage broker. Never invest on any loan on anything less then a first or second mortgage where there is anough collateral in the property to more then cover your loan. You must file income tax on any money gained. Good luck
You may want to look into purchasing property now that real estate is so low in the US, it will rise again and if you get it now at a low price it will not only increase in value it will be a place to live and a good investment.

You will need to wait until your no longer a minor but it's a good investment so for now put it in blue chip stock or a retirement program that isn't locked. Then if the real estate market is still low when your 18 purchase property.

You can't do it now because your prohibited from signing a legal contract because you can't be held to it.
As I have answered before to others, seeking investment advice online is fine if you understand that true investment professionals cannot give you any advice online without violating the ';know your customer rule'; with the SEC or FINRA(formally NASD). i am an investment professional who is licensed by the FINRA to give advice and receive compensation for that advice. Please believe me when I say that the best sounding advice may not be the best advice for YOU. this is the key...YOU. YOU are who you are, and YOUR situation is what makes advice accurate. If you want advice, please email me, I promise to you that my advice and/or help will be of no charge to you. there is NO catch. I am willing to help you, because I do not want to see anyone get bad advice .
You can do better than 2.7%. You could probably double your return right away by researching a higher yielding savings account. I have seen savings accounts in the 4.5% range FDIC insured.

If you want to take on some risk, start dabbling with ETFs. They are diversified and offer superior cost advantages to mutual funds. Pick a range of ETFs, like the S%26amp;P 500, international, small cap, mid cap, etc. I would stay away from exotic funds (short funds, sector funds, etc) until you have more experience picking investments.

Yahoo finance is a good resource to research investments.

Good luck.
Investing in future innovative product ideas
Contact a reputable broker, like Wachovia, and invest in mutual funds. These are funds that a great number of people invest in, an assortment of stocks that are selected for various growth potentials. When you turn 18, you should start to invest in a Roth IRA. You can put in $4000 per year toward your retirement. By time you are retirement age, it will appreciate into millions.

A good website to look at is ClarkHoward, a radio financial show. He has all sorts of info regarding starting an investment plan. Another site is MotleyFool, where they explain alot of this stuff.

And do research. Go to the library, or look online, about terms you'll find in articles about stocks and investing.
Since you will need some of the money very shortly for your education I would advise investing that amount in a Short Term High Yield Bond Mutual Fund. Check various funds with Moringstar for the ratings of each fund.

At your age, I would suggest investing the remainder in some type of Stock Index Fund. Depending on which index the fund follows, the net asset value of the shares will rise or fall in line with the index as a whole. It may not be the most aggresive way to invest, but you will sleep much better each night not having as many worries about your money.
Hi John!

2.7% interest is really too low.

I'm not a financial guru, but I am getting 40%-50% annual interest.

I can help you to invest your money in a way that best suits your needs.

E-mail me more information and I'll give you advice.

Good luck!

This sounds like short term money to me if you are planning on attending college right now. Short term money is a gamble in the stock market - it might go down. But you can certainly get a CD or online savings account for more than 2.7% - shop around. If you feel that is too conservative consider a 50-50 split - $20k in a CD and $20k in an index fund.

What's your best advice for my family for getting a colt when we know nothing about horses?

Don't.What's your best advice for my family for getting a colt when we know nothing about horses?
If you know nothign about horses I would definatly not start with a young one-unless you plan on getting a professional infvolved in his training.

Do you have any freinds who know about horses to help you out. Have you read horse care books to get gneral knowlege. See if you can set up an apointment with an equine vet before you get the horse to go over basic housing, feeding, health care ect. What's your best advice for my family for getting a colt when we know nothing about horses?
There's a saying about this - green on green makes black and blue. What you save on the purchase price by buying a colt instead of a steady older horse you'll spend on training and medical care. I know some people have successfully had young horses as their first, but there is some luck involved.

To really enjoy your horse experience, to enjoy it enough that you'll stay a horse person instead of being discouraged and quitting, you should consider a well-trained, reliable family horse. You'll be able to ride immediately, to take lessons astride, participate in horse evenst, etc without waiting, worrying and needlessly increasing the inherent risk.

Think about it this way, too. You buy the colt, let's say he's one year old. You theneed him, take him to the vet, pay a farrier, pay board or feed costs, possibly(hopefully) pay for training and lessons for about 2 years before you can so much as go on a trail ride. OR you could buy a 5 yr old or older (and bear in mind horses can remain useful well into their 20s with good care) and you have an immediate return on that investment.

And god forbid your li;ves shoudl change and you are unable to keep the horse, you can get a fairly good portion of the purchase price back. If you buy a colt and he's only amateur-trained or you weren't able to because something happened, you get nada.

Eventually you can ';graduate'; to a younger or less trained horse and still have a good time because you have some experience.
Getting an untrained young colt would be a mistake - you should start with an older horse that is already trained... because that horse will help to train YOU.
Do lots of research before buying a colt. They are lots of upkeep, not to mention as they grow they will become very expensive to feed. I highly recommend you reading everything you can get your hands on about the care of horses before making such a big investment. This will be very time consuming also. Good luck on whatever decision you make.
Then why are you doing it? Think of the best interests of the colt, not what YOU want.
Your first horse should NOT be a baby, even if you have pro training. First of all, before you get any horse you should learn everything you can about them. Then you should get a quiet horse, older than 9-10, that has no vices and is an easy keeper. Make sure when you do get one you have a support network that includes a vet, an experienced horse person, and/or a trainer.

I need help and advice about debt, help?

I really have lots of questions, and I dont know who to ask. I have been off sick from work and am getting barley any money, I have so much debt that I cannot pay, let alone the usual bills phone, electricity, rent etc. Also the debt people are phoning constantly and now the phone has been cut off...... will they send someone round? What do they say? what can I say to them? I have no money.... Will they be adamant and not leave? will they try and take stuff from my house? does anyone know the process? and how to handle the situation?,,,,,any advice would be so helpful to me,,,, thank youI need help and advice about debt, help?
The Citizens Advice Bureau will be able to give you good adviceI need help and advice about debt, help?
you should call your creditors and explain that you are not working at the moment ask them to accept reduced payments of a set amount each week/month depending on what you have coming in. you'll find these people are willing to accept any payment rather than none! good luck
Don t panic !there is help avaidable . it does take time to sort out . i found the consumer credit counselling service really helpful.you do have to try and sort out priority arrears like rent first.
They won't send anyone around unless they're local. They can contact you but harassment is illegal. They can call friends, too. You probably had to give 2 or 3 contacts when you took out the loan. Borrow a phone and call everyone. Do it on a regular basis. This will cut out the need for them to contact you or friends. Live on no more than absolutely necessary and apply the rest to the debt. If you are working, you keep in touch with your creditors, and you pay what you say you will (even though it's very little) when you say you will, most creditors will work with you. That doesn't answer all your questions, please go to daveramsey.com.
you could try and remortgage your house... I hope all goes well, its no fun with no money, i know all about it.

Best wishes

First of all get to Citizens advice bureau if your in UK

They will make sure you are receiving all benefits you are entitled to...eg rent...council tax

They will also refer you to a money advisor/specialist. You will be advised to stop paying all the non priority creditors and make sure your priorities are paid eg.. rent gas elec etc etc

When the creditors phone you tell them you will be seeing the CAB and if they dont back off state that their contacting you is harrassment...( that works)

No one can take anything from your home unless a court has said they can....baliffs
Creditors often use the tactic of harassing their debtors, presumably in the hope that they will suddenly and miraculously find a large lump of cash that they had forgotten about. Sit down and sort out what you owe and to whom. Contact each company and explain your situation. Try to arrange reduced payments. If you are in the UK contact the CAB and make an appointment to see them, they are excellent about advice and will even write letters for you. they can also advise about benefits to which you may be entitled. Whatever you do, don't ignore any letters from creditors. If any creditors have passed your debt onto a collections agency don't worry they have no right to remove anything from your home or even to enter your home despite what they might say. the only way items can be removed from your home is by court order and if proceedings have been issued you will be informed by the Court. There is a load more advice I could give you, if you need to know anything else please leave a message for me under your question
if you pay for your home, and utilities.

and pay ZERO to all unsecured crditors.

they will charge off the debt as bad. then they sell the debt to a third party for about 10 cents on the dollar.

they will just wait around until you get solvent again then try to collect.

if you can live on cash and have no debt again , in ten years it will all just go away.

find a way to be self employed, like cleaning nice offices at night. only wages can be garnished, not revenue from a company you own.

after a messy divorce i defaulted on 60,000.00 in credit card debt, and ten years later it all dissappeared from my credit report. of course i learned my lesson and only live on what i earn, no debt, it feels great !!!

I know nothing about electronics, so could someone give me some advice before I talk to a salesman?

I'm looking for a multi-disc CD player. I'm not interested in taking the time %26amp; effort to program the music myself, so basically I want random play, repeat, simple things like that. My big criteria is that it not be huge like a computer or tv--something small and compact that can sit on a dresser or bookcase without taking up a lot of room. I don't need the speakers. What do I need to ask for when I go to the store? Any particular brand? What should I expect for a price range? Thanks for any help--I admit to not being mechanically oriented.I know nothing about electronics, so could someone give me some advice before I talk to a salesman?

Jirachii--obviously You don't get it. This person admits to knowing nothing about electronics %26amp; she wants help BEFORE she goes to the store. If she knew about electronics she would know what are the best websites to go to. Sounds like you don't know anything either or you would have suggested something.

Maybe you should plan your shopping for when you have more time to avoid people like her, or go on off hours.

Sorry, but I don't have any suggestions either. Good luck.
Why don't you do your research online 1st? I hate people who have like 199 questions for sales men! Do your research 1st before going to a store That way you just need to ask for what you want and not waste the sales mens times, or my time when Im behind you waiting to get the product I want! Get the most expensive that you can afford basiclly For most cases the higher the price, the better quality product you'll get Stick to Sony Those will meet all your needs

use the internet for research, not Q%26amp;A. Duh!!

Is there a website where I can get advice about how to fill out a job application form and CV..?

You must be aware that the CV is that key which unlocks the gate of the company for you. You want the job, you are ready for it - but have your really got the right key? How do you make your CV an interesting document?

Always write a new CV for each job, specifically designing them to answer and highlight the relevant information about yourself as regards to the job requirements; never give a standard formal CV to one and all - in case you do, do not expect great results from such a delivery

Always draw he employers interest towards your best plus points which would be show you as one of the most eligible for the job applied for

Collect enough information about the company and the job in question to know exactly what points are the employers looking for so you can match your best talents to match those particular points of the requirement

Be aware of the market trends regarding the latest technology, latest training, latest jargons that are relevant to the job. Use those in sufficient quantity to show that you are abreast with the times The formatting of the CV should be pleasant to the eyes in alignment, typesetting (the font should preferably be Arial or Times New Roman with a size between 11 - 12 pt), margins, paper quality - each and every aspect should be chose with the company and job you are applying for in mind. For example for a computer professional a highly professional, latest technology and software CV would be very appropriate; while for an advertising or copy writing job a colorful and innovative style would prove your credentials even before the employer read your CV

Use the key aspects that the employers are looking for correctly and throughout the CV - this will not only attract their attention but also highlight your overall awareness

Keep the CV crisp and easy to read, using proper highlighting tactics for different areas you need to attract the employers attention to - often the employers has only a few brief few seconds' time to glance through the CV and make his/her decision whether he/she interested to know more or not

Keep it interesting with short sentences if you need to elaborate and bullet points when you need to list - so a person can scan the contents without effort and also enjoy what they read

You need to build the expectations of the employer slowly but steadily so he/she will want to interview you; use the right formatting applicable to that company, region or country. Incorrect formatting often leads to rejection since the person cannot re-organize his/her way of thinking only for a stray CV

Highlight clearly what value you can add to the job and the company so they can appreciate the value addition you can bring in

The above list is by no means exhaustive. Your CV should generally speaking, invite the employer to know you better, create a good first impression, and open the possibility in their mind that you might be the right candidate for the job.

Advice about step-parenting after bitter divorce & remarriage?

14 mo. old boy (mine), step-mom to 6, 9, and 13 year old boys - bio Mom *very* angry at my husby, who used to be her husby. Kids have ADHD, oldest Asperger's, very difficult to deal with and worse since divorce and her recent (about six months give or take) decision to not supervise and/or discipline boys, though we all love boys dearly. No hope of getting physical custody at moment, though may be over time. Any advice on how to get through this stressful time with the boys, my husby, and myself, while still keeping sane? Already doing the usual - not saying anything bad about bio Mom, showing and telling boys we love them, spending as much time as possible with boys, doing something about bio Mom where we can and hoping time will take care of what we can't control at moment. Husby and I agree on discipline and are about 50/50 with it, which boys accept well, but still lots of problems including concerns about bio Mom, and lots of tantrums, lying and stealing by boys.Advice about step-parenting after bitter divorce %26amp; remarriage?
It's going to be near impossible if Mom lets her hate override what is best for the boys. For your part, continue to be respectful to the mom (no matter how hard that is going to be). With the kids, the key is going to be patience. They're going to act up, that's a given. Eventually they will grow up enough to see which side is hateful and which is not. Good luck to all of you.Advice about step-parenting after bitter divorce %26amp; remarriage?

  • Advice about damage to grout?

I recently had some ceramic tiles laid in my bathroom. Due to illness the plasterer came after the floor had been laid. The plasterer then managed to get plaster dust in the wet grout and now it just looks a mess. I have asked him to resolve this. He wants to clean the grout with 'brick acid' rather than regrout the tiles. I am really concerned about this and the potential damage it could do to the new tiles. Can anyone advise me on the best course of action- is this acid ok to use on ceramic tiles? Many thanksAdvice about damage to grout?
H$%% no this isn t alright. That acid may very well destroy the glaze on the tile..Painting is not an option.. Since he shouldn t have been on fresh grout , and I ll let you guys hash that out, no dust should ve gotten on the grout..

Digging out the old with extreme care and regrouting is the way it should be taken care of..

Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there. GLAdvice about damage to grout?
well to my knowledge if your tile looks shiny on top, it means it has a glass coat... a very strong glass finish. think of it like this- when have you ever seen a glass beaker with acid inside deteriorate. brick acid won't damage you tile unless its that rough looking stone tile...

repainting them would be an option... a quick paint...

    http://www.groutsealerdirect.com/
Depending on your tile you could use.

HG cement grout film remover (HG extra) or

HG cement, mortar %26amp; efflorescence remover.

I would never recommend using something like brick acid, especially in side. It's far to strong and volatile.

The wii is awsome, but there is some down sides, make sure if you want to play games that involves only 1 player, because most of the wii games are for multiplayer and those games are fun with other people.

wait it out. maybe he will realize he should be with you
In order to answer your question you left out a key issue that influences my answer: how old are you and the guy in question?

Intimacy and maturity are absolutely relevent in this instance to how you should handle the situation.

Without that information, I can only say that no matter how old you are, that you need to stay true to yourself. Firstly, since you say that listening to him speaking about this other girl ';hurts too much';, then you probably are more concerned with doing the best for him, but it's hard for you.

I can only tell you that we can never make someone like or love us, just as we can never like or love someone else for all the supposed ';right'; reasons. Even if you were to tell him your feelings for him you can't expect that his love light for you will suddenly switch to ';on';. The reality is that you can only stay true to yourself and that means either telling him or begging off the friendship, or shutting up when he talks about it and continue to be his friend. In the last scenario you are most likely dragging out your pain, however, Jane Austin would have something else to say about that.

    Good luck....
awww what else can i say, it happens.
He just isn't into you. Find someone else to have a crush on. Don't worry, you'll forget about him soon enough.
i've been through that and just try ignore him for a while that's what i did
that happened to me but with a girl, just dont tell him anyhing but dont lie, just try to change the subject and if it presists just tell him the truth about her

Could any of you offer me some advice about buying a duplex? there is a lot to read her but id appreciate it..

my first concern is that i work as an over the road truck driver and so im never home. i would be relying heavily on a property manager. would i be able to pull off owning a duplex if i am only home once or twice every two months?

second concern is that i know the area in which i plan to buy (Cleveland, OH) but im not sure if i know it well enough to be purchasing a home there. would you considor knowing the area to be vitaly important?

third concern is that from looking on remax.com most of the homes in the Cleveland area in my price range just dont look too attractive to me. they are older looking houses but thats the way a lot of the houses are in Cleveland. it just concerns me buying such an old house.

okay now for the important part, MONEY

first an explination: i work as an otr truck driver but im taking classes online and i expect to finish my degree 3 years from now at which point i will move home.Could any of you offer me some advice about buying a duplex? there is a lot to read her but id appreciate it..
One item not mentioned is whether you are paying cash for the duplex or borrowing money. Additionally, you did not mention the purchase price of the duplex. However, since most people borrow money, I'll present some additional information for your analysis. I will also make an assumption for purposes of discussion. I will assume that you borrow at least 60K on the property and have a 30 year loan with 6.5 to 7.5 percent interest. Then, depending upon the amount of escorw deposits required for taxes and insurance...you can expect a mortgage payment of around $ 500.00 per month. This would result in additional cash outflows of approx 6,000 per year for a total of 15,000 approximate cash outflow. Even if you add back that interest computation made in your original analysis and even if maybe your miscellaneous estimate is high...I still think you don't cash flow too much extra cash to your bank account in this 2.5 years. That said...it could still be a winner...if the real estate market in Cleveland grew substantially in the next 2.5 year. Then you could sell it for a good profit and (after paying real estate broker and closing closts) maybe add to your bank account. Personally, I'd not make the investment...but instead put back money every month from your otr income to accumulate your downpayment and closing costs that you will need to buy a house when you complete your degree. Then after completing the degree...AND obtaining a job with that degree; start looking for your house. Hopefully you will have acucmulated enough money to buy it and should have a good income to support the monthly payment. Good luck...whatever you do.

I need some advice about training my dog.?

I have a 3 year old pomeranian, and I must say he is a real menace lately. He goes to the bathroom in the basement when he is alone and barks when he doesn't get to come up. People say that this is because he doesn't like being down there alone and wants to come join the rest of the family. It is a finished basement so it's not like we lock the dog down in a dirty basement. We go down there all the time but when we come up, he barks. Any advice on how to train him to stop barking and peeing everywhere. We've tried letting him up but he still pees on the carpets and goes into the trashcan and rips stuff up. He really is a menace. We want to try everything we can without getting rid of him.I need some advice about training my dog.?
First off you have to understand the dog mentality. They are naturally pack animals. That is why we make them pets. The family unit is a human pack and dogs fit in with us because they flourish in a pack enviroment. If you force the dog into the basement away from the rest of the household, you give the dog anxiety, because it needs to be a part of the pack.Bring the dog upstairs.Give him a crate to stay in,when you are not home or you are not able to watch him.The dog will love you for providing a safe den for it.They love being able to go to their safe spot when tired or crabby.Never put the dog in their pen as you are scolding or they will think it's banishment. Now, when your dog comes out of it's crate ,take him outside and give praise and a treat for using the outside for potty. Also don't leave food down all day. If you do pooch has to poop all day.Limit the food to three times a day,and only give him 5-10 minutes to eat, then pull it up. About 20 minutes later the dog will need to have a stool.Take the dog outside and wait until he's done and praise and give a treat. A bell on your door helps also.Everytime you take the dog outside to potty, shake the bell.Pretty soon the dog wll associate the bell with getting the door opened to go potty, and will ring the bell on its own, letting you know it wants out.The crate that you get for the dog should be just large enough for the dog to stretch out in,but no bigger,The dog poops in the basement because it can do it far away from where he sleeps. But if you crate them in a space just big enough to sleep in they will refuse to dirty it.I think you shouls also try obedience school for your dog. This will allow better socializing with other dogs and people.Make sure the shots are all up to date and that the yrly worming is done. Good luckI need some advice about training my dog.?
    try useing the folling items

    1.clicker

    2.treats3

    4.dog wistle

    5.spray bottle

Stay assertive but not mean if he does'nt respond to this look online elnswere and PLZ get out of that basement it kills me to know dogs live in places like that!!!!!!!
3 years old and not potty trained? Maybe you should give the dog to someone that will train it as you do seem incapable. Why didn't you educate yourself regarding dogs, how to train, how to socialize, and to better understand dog behavior? This poor dog is banished to the basement because of your lack of dog education. Didn't you ever think of puppy classes, or a good obedience school so that you could have a more enjoyable pet and a safer one? It is not to late. I could give you step by step instructions on how to potty train and how to teach the ';quiet'; command but you really need to start at the beginning, as if you just received this dog.

Never ever listen to anyone that suggests aversion training. Such as hitting the dog, squirting the dog, scaring the dog. You do not ever want your dog to fear you.
I would get him a crate and keep him in it in the basement and start re-housetraining him. If you can, get 2 crates .. one for downstairs and one for upstairs. Bring him upstairs when you are up there and when you cant watch him (making dinner, bathroom break) stick him in the crate so he cant pee on the carpet.

When you get home or come up from downstairs .. bring him with you on a leash. That way you can keep an eye on where he is at all times and he doesnt get left alone down in the basement. It may be a nice basement, but I wouldnt want to be down there all the time.

Next, try to start some obedience classes. This will show him whos boss.

With the trashcan .. buy a sterdy trashcan. My Peke (when he was a pup) got SO mad when we left him in the kitchen when we had to go out that he would knock down the garbage and go through it. So we got this huge wooden garbage can and he cant even knock it down. If you dont want to do that, put the garbage can outside while you leave or while hes upstairs. Thats one problem solved right there.

    Hope that helps!
Try crate training him make it more like a place he will enjoy.

Also sounds like he has separation anxiety.

  • What useful information/advice can you give me that I'm unlikely to have found in books about Ireland?

My husband and I and 2 teenage sons are considering a January trip to Republic of Ireland (not Dublin area) We know about January weather. We don't want to spend a lot of money and are willing to ';rough it'; We would be traveling fron northeastern USA. I'll ve very thankful for any information you gan give us.What useful information/advice can you give me that I'm unlikely to have found in books about Ireland?
Before you leave check if your mobile (cell phone) will work in Ireland. Here the majority of people have one so the public phones aren't very well maintained and may only accept prepaid cards.

Outside Dublin public transport is miserable, if you want to see the country you will need to hire a car.

Over the last few years efforts have been made to improve signposting however I would recomend buying a good map, I use the OS map books, which can be bought in a good book shop (try finding an Easons) and filling stations.

I'm not sure how long you are staying but the north and nort west may be worth visiting. The border crossing is no problem, all you'll notice is the signs with the speed limits changing from KM to Miles. The Giants Causeway is beautiful, and Donegal has some amazing views. In Omagh there is the Ulster American Folk Park (http://www.folkpark.com/) and the Ulster History Park.Throughout Northern Ireland former Stately homes are open to the public and ran by the national trust, eg castle coole and florencecourt house.

Most local tourist offices operate a service where you can contact them giving details of waht accomodation you require (eg B%26amp;B, ensuite room, %26lt;1KM town centre) and they will give you a list of options and will book one on your behalf for a small fee.

ATM's are available in all cities and large towns, creditcards (mastercard and visa) are accepted widely (American Express is not accepted as frequently)

Don't be afraid to pop into a shop or pub to look for directions they'll help you if they can.

Enjoy your trip! What useful information/advice can you give me that I'm unlikely to have found in books about Ireland?
Stay in B%26amp;Bs. The owners are more that helpful regarding travel plans or calling ahead to get you a room in a B%26amp;B that they know of. I've had them give me older guide books and maps. Also, if you see a sign for an interesting castle/abbey/museum//whatever, go see it. I've only traveled Ireland by rental car, and have seen some of the best things on unplanned detours.

also, chat with the locals when you're out at a pub or for a meal. They're usually keen to talk about themselves or their town to strangers, and you learn a lot.
You want to fly into Shannon Ireland then. County Clare has a lot to see and not expensive such as Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle, Craggenouwen, The Burren, Spanish Pointl, Lahinch, Ennis, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, and of course Galway. All of these are just high points there is so much to see along the way in out of the way places. B%26amp;Bs are good but if you want to relax one day and lounge around you need to get a hotel. Usually B%26amp;B want you out after breakfast and not back until 500P.

Breakfast usually is part of your room - Its a full Irish Breakfast. Some hotels have buffets or they will cook it for you and that includes B%26amp;Bs too.

Car hire is good if you do that get a international permit from AAA then your insurance will be cheaper in Ireland. The permit is about 10.00 weather is not too bad its goes from low to up to 40 in the January month.

You can get a cheaper flight if you are in the Northwest I recommned. AA which goes straight into Shannon or Aer Lingus.

You can also take a train trip there are some tickets like 30.00EURO for 7 days.

Also you dont need to carry a lot of cash. You can use your debit card in Ireland and the bank will automatically change it to EURO or get your money exhchanged at a local bank before you leave. If you get lost in Ireland the people are so good to help you out.

Make sure you have your passports.
I came across a coupon for discounts to heritage sites and events - i posted a link to it on my site (see my signature below).

In Killarney there is a great hostel called the Killarney International Youth Hostel.

Make a date with a storyteller, again there's info on this on my site.

A lot depends on whether you will be using public transport or a car and how much time you have. See Dingle, Cliffs of Moher or my favorite go to a sporting event such as a hurling match or gaelic football match. See gaa.ie for info about that.

Also, visit a benedictine abbey 30 minutes from Limerick: glenstal.ie. On sundays they celebrate mass with gregorian chant. The monastery is a castle on a vast estate. Unmissable.

    Have a great trip.
The dark sausage is blood sausage...tasty if you don't think about it. Shagging means kissing there. If the locals tell you someplace is dodgy, back away, it means shady, scary, shifty. Bring things like cigarettes, shampoo, and tampons with you because they are very expensive there. Bus drivers are crazy and will make you want to vomit. Take the train.
    Visit Spain Instead..

What can you advice about starting divorce and all the way throught the end?

Please only answer if you have knowledge about divorce. What can you advice about starting divorce and all the way throught the end?
the easiest way is a no contest divorce. It's also the cheapest. You two are going to have to put all your differences aside and talk about how you are going to split up everything, child support and so on. Be civil. What can you advice about starting divorce and all the way throught the end?
If you are going to file, make sure you have a good lawyer, and make sure they are 100% on your side and not just trying to earn a buck from you. You gotta have emotional support from your lawyer or else you will end up losing alot more both financially and emotionally.
Do not fight over things if you want out so you can start over let the little things go. you can get a new coach ect....

Be fair about your financial obligations bills ect...

If you have children do not use them as club to beat and control your ex...

The marriage may not work but your new relation ship can do not take things personal every one is hurting be kind
My advice, don't get a good attorney, get the most crooked one you can find. They know how to fight dirty and get what you want. However, if the divorce is because of something you did, like cheating, I hope your spouse gets the dirty lawyer first.
the sooner the better get it over with and move on
My suggestion is to learn to compromise now. Obviously you couldnt do it when you were married but now's the time to learn. If you do not intend to end up in an expensive legal matter that can go on for years, learn to compromise. Go to mediation if you have to, but that's an expense that is not always necessary. Both sides should be able to just comprise. He wants the car and the kids every other weekend, she wants the house and the 401k plan. Whatever.
Divorce laws are different in every state. The first thing you need to do is contact an attorney. Protect yourself and your children (if you have any).

Divorce is a difficult thing, and definetely NOT the easy answer. Your life will change drastically, and it is scary. Be prepared for that and be sure you are making the right choice!

Do not agree to anything just to make the divorce go faster, or to please the other person. Make sure that you fight for what is fair and what you deserve.

I need you to be more specific if you need a more detailed answer. Good luck to you!
Review your assets, what is it that you want out of the divorce. Prepare yourself mentally. This is NOT a pleasant trip. Try to agree on what both of you want (this will pay off in the end). BUT stick to your guns on what you want.

I need some advice about a school dance!?

ok so ive got a girlfriend but its kinda my first girlfriend (dont laugh). im thirteen and my 8th grade dance is coming up. i need some advice on how to slow dance with a girl bcause ive never slow danced with one.I need some advice about a school dance!?
Well first of all hope your hands don't get sweaty easily. If they do, then try to wear as little over clothes as possible. When there's a slow dance, ask her to dance, and put your hands on her waist or one hand in her hand and the other on her waist. Then basically just sway to the music, rock back and forth, or whatever the song seems like you should do it.

Most of all, just be calm and be a gentleman.I need some advice about a school dance!?
just hold her hips and move side to side slowly.Give her a smile nad don't be stiff because she will sense that you are nervous. Good luck!
grab her hips and move 2 the left then right! good luck!!!!
Take your left hand and put it on the small of her back, then hold her left hand with your right. You can walk slowly forward and back, side to side, or spin around. (you'll get the hang of it soon enough)
Look man, all u gotta do is get some forty ounces and let that broad grind her *** all over u, feelin me?

but if u an 8th grader, humm.....

all u gotta do is move with the rhythm... u understand?

u put ur hands on her hips, she'll put hers on ur shoulders (she'll eventually fully embrace you, but that takes a little bit of warmin up, nawmsayn?). make a small step to the right, and a small one to the left. keep rotating slowly. go with the flow, go with the beat, fly like a bird, son. u can do it. i know it. u know it.
i think maybe you should try practicing first just move side to side real slow and hold her hips don't be to slow or too fast try to at least get a kiss at thee end of night when you drop her off
my first dance with my first boyfriend was in 8th grade to..last year...all you have to do is put your arms around her waist an she will wrap her arms around your neck....nothing really to it..just move side to side slowly....

Whats the best advice you have ever been given about relationships?

Don't do her in the ***Whats the best advice you have ever been given about relationships?
The best advice i have gotten is that a relationship should not be one sided. You both have to care for each other equally and be committed to the relationship. If one side is committed but the other person is not then it is unhealthy. Both people in a relationship have to do things and be there for the other person.

I have some friends that are in relationships that are either controlling by one of the people or the one person demands everything be about them. it can be a drain on the person being controlled or being demanded of.Whats the best advice you have ever been given about relationships?
    - being afraid of falling in love is like being afraid of living

    - If you are worrying about your relationship in the first few months, then its not worth the effort

    - Do unto your partner as you would like them to do unto you

    - best way to a man's heart is through his stomach, so make sure you cook up a storm for him

    - Men are so easy that if you know what triggers their button, you will never be hurt.

-People can give you a million reasons why you shouldnt do it. But be armed with the one reason why you should
Men are jerks and Women are crazy

You have to find someone who can put up with your sh!t and whose sh!t you can put up with....

All you need in life is a bike and a dog.
the person who cares the most has the least in a relationship has the most control

    however...

    control is not happiness
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I learned this in my first Sunday school class at three years old and it has always worked with me!
Don't have one and you can't get hurt.
Go for the opposite of who you think you want.
The man for you won't make you cry.
    Don't get married, son!
u gotta give respect to get respect!

JUST FOLLOW HER FEET IF SHE IS MOVING BACK MOVE BAK IF SHE IS MOVING FOWARD GO FOWARD LET HER TAKE THE LEAD.I need some advice about a school dance!?
First thing is first do not grab her without listening to the beat and catching the riddim. It wil be embarassing if she has it and you dont. The lightly touch her hips and just step side to side.
Don't worry they will pull u2 apart.
Ok the dance in this centrey is just moving back and forth, but do better than that. Twirl her here and there, if she dances have her teach you any dance steps. Just have fun with her, hope it goes well!
practice with your mom or sister......
i love the answer above me! its so funny just put your hands on her hips but not that low girls hate that! and just sway back and forth

I am really interested in going to busch garden but i am on the heavier side about 250lbs.any advice please?

i have asked a couple of people and they said it should be fine but any help or personal experience will be greatly appreciated. thanksI am really interested in going to busch garden but i am on the heavier side about 250lbs.any advice please?
WATER! Bring a water bottle filled with ice and water. Keep getting it filled as much as possible. Dress as cool as possible. Avoid jean shorts...maybe something with an elastic band. Plan your day where you take an hour break midway through the day. Just an eat and run will not be good. Avoid ice cream or anything dairy while in the park. It will make you have cotton mouth really quick. Take advantage of the water park!!! (bring an extra set of clothes if you don't want to wear a bathing suit.) Don't forget to wear sunblock!!!

Don't worry about not fitting on the rides. There are people a lot bigger than us that go on those rides. You never see a disclaimer for the rides being for those only a certain poundage....unless you try squeezing yourself on a kiddie ride, don't worry.I am really interested in going to busch garden but i am on the heavier side about 250lbs.any advice please?
I really don't see you having anything less than a great time there so stop with the worrying about your weight just go on ahead and enjoy Busch Gardens.
there's not a darn this wrong with that! Go and have a good time

I need legal advice about car title?

So today my boyfriend traded his car with another person, he went through all the motions of looking at a car (test drove, looked under the hood, etc..).

Well then on the way home probably 5 minutes after leaving the location with the car and about 5 miles down the interstate, the engine blew up.

My question is they signed the title as is, is there anyway he could get the old car back or take any action against the other seller?I need legal advice about car title?
Nope. If your boyfriend 'the mechanic' couldn't tell that there was something wrong with it when he 'went through the motions of looking at a car', then what makes you think the previous owner knew something was wrong? When you sign something 'as is' that means that you're taking the car, damages %26amp; all. Tell your boyfriend 'the mechanic' to be more careful next time he purchases a car from someone he knows.I need legal advice about car title?
Please inform us of the name and business address of your boyfriend. He is the WORST mechanic on the planet. I don't claim to be competent as a mechanic, but I couldn't miss a problem bad enough to cause the engine to BLOW UP that quickly.

ALL private party sales are AS IS, unless specifically stated otherwise in writing. The only thing the seller promised is that the had the legal right to sell the car. They did not promise is was fit to be called a car.

They signed title? Sorry. No recourse.

He should have done a bit more than ';going through the motions,'; like taking it to a mechanic.
Title transferred? A for sale as is signed? Uhhh, probably not!
    Nope

All you have to do is feed and the water the mother rabbit, she'll take care of the rest. Make sure they are in a safe place, away from dogs and cats, that it... And don't handle the baby rabbits too much, or the mother rabbit will stop taking care of them... I've raised a lot of rabbits in my life.We have a rabbit with litter of 6 dont know much about rabbits and young need advice and usefull web sites?
give the mom lots of spinach and keep make sure there is a nesting box and tons of hay for her to make a nest in, make sure they are pretty warm, six is a big litter! i would say do not hold them until they are abput 7 days or a week, bunnies are prety self sufficient with their young but make sure the mom and dad dont get near each other so that she doesnt get pregnant agian, also make sure you seperate the boys in a few months to prevent another pregancy. you may want to get her nuitered if you dont wany any more babies because many female bunnies die of ovarian cancer when they are young if you do not. bunnies are so much fun,Good Luck and God Bless

Brad, give this some real serious thought. Read, and study The Word. DAILY, and pray, if this is what you are really to do, God will TELL you. Whether it will be in The Word, someone across your path, etc., but, please, let God tell you, too many thought they were called, but God actually had a different kind of serving in mind for them, and they end up missing their calling, and into trouble, like many priest are finding these days, as that lifestyle was not where they were suppose to be! i wouldn't take a chance with a baby involved. Years ago I took gotu kola %26amp; goldenseal for something %26amp; didn't know that it was only recommended for a certain length of time %26amp; it messed me up. Just don't do it.How can I manage contradictory advices about the use of Gotu Kola in case of Episiotomy?
look for references to peer reviewed journals. if neither has any references to them don't even bother taking gotu kola, a better decision is actually go to a doctor and ask him what to do about your episiotomy.

If you could give one piece of advice about dealing with 4 year olds, what would it be?

My boyfriend has a 4 year old daughter....just curiousIf you could give one piece of advice about dealing with 4 year olds, what would it be?
Remember that they DO comprehend more then you may think they do at this age. And they will sometimes share, with others, things you may not want them to. Like the time my step-daughter was about 4 or 5 and we told her to stop picking her nose and she said ';Why, my mom does it all the time.'; Of course, I thought it was hysterical. But, I doubt her mom would have. :o) If you could give one piece of advice about dealing with 4 year olds, what would it be?
Their very impressionable at this age. It's like feeling all grown up but stuck in a little persons body. They will try to repeat everything you say and do. Just give them some space to release their frustrations and energy (their very active), lots of high fives for jobs well done, time-outs/scolding and explanations as to why they've received one in the first place (no spanking or yelling please, it belittles them and subjects to lack of confidence) and major hug-a-thons and smoochies. But the most important thing is to always listen to them. They have just as much to say as we adults do and it's very important to them to express their thoughts and feelings. Overall, just interact and have fun with them. It will bring back plenty of good memories from your childhood.
Be consistent in what you say and do- remain calm but firm in the rules you and your boyfriend have set. Do not expect her to listen to you all the time- she is 4- they continually test their boundaries. Tell her you are her friend, do not try to be her mom- she has one already and that will just piss off her mom causing troubles you do not want
Get into a four year old mindset. As hard as it sounds (and it really isn't) think about BEING a four year old. Some of the most succesful parents/anyone who works with children are the ones who can relate.
Don't sit them in front of a TV instead of doing things with them. Treat them (better than) like a dog that needs regular outdoor exercise and peer stimulation. Get the kid outside and do things with her!
spank them when their bad, reward them when their good,.....

    common knowledge.

I need some advice about my Chinchilla's?

I love my chins and they love treats! I feed them well. I feed them an all natural organic food. They love these Timothy Hay seed balls. They also love raisins. I know that they can eat some fruits and I like to make them mini ';fruit salads'; but what fruits can I give them? Are there anymore food items I can give them or anything around the house...treat wise?I need some advice about my Chinchilla's?
Of course your chins love treats! Just like kids love candy bars! The question is, would you shovel candy bars into your kids mouths? No, of course you wouldn't. Part of being a good parent is providing a healthy diet for your kids. It's the same thing with chins. You need to be in control of their diet, to provide them with the healthiest diet you can.

First, the seed balls. Chins don't need, nor is it good for them to eat seeds. Nuts are the same. Nuts are too high in fat and can affect a chinchilla's liver as well. Another thing to stay away from. On top of those two things, there needs to be some kind of binding agent, which in pet store junk food tends to be honey. Not only can honey harbor botchulism, but it is also just another sugar.

Second, one raisin every week or two is fine, more than that? No. Chins do not digest sugar well at all. They are hind gut fermenters and too much sugar is not healthy for them, even ';natural'; sugars contained in fruits. There are people who will argue the fact that chins can handle fruits and vegetables, but the majority of the chinchilla community (especially here in the US) will overwhelmingly tell you no. No fruit salads. You could end up causing bloat in your chin and it's very, very hard for a chinchilla to recover from that. It's excruciatingly painful and it makes them go downhill very fast.

Safe treats: Bite sized, nonsugared shredded wheat; dried rosehips; the occasional cheerio; lots and lots of safe wood chews, i.e., apple, pear, cholla, manzanita, pecan, etc. For a complete list of chin safe woods, please see this list: http://www.chins-n-hedgies.com/forums/sh鈥?/a> Be sure that they are from a safe source (check the classifieds) and that they have been prepared carefully to make sure it is safe. You can also stuff a toilet paper tube with hay. It's a toy and it's a treat.

People assume that their chins need to have their diets spiced up, when in actuality, it is the human who needs it spiced. There are two things to remember with a chinchilla -- don't kill your chin with kindness and KISS (keep it simple stupid). Good quality pellets (Nutrena, Tradition, Mazuri, APD, Oxbow), good quality hay (not pet store hay), and fresh water daily. These are the things your chin NEEDS. Anything other than that, you need. A very basic diet is the healthiest one for your chin.

Another important thing to remember: If it comes from a pet store, it most likely is junk. Pet stores are out to make money. They don't care of it's healthy for your pet. So just because it has a picture of a chinchilla on it, it doesn' t make it safe. The only thing I could recommend from a pet store are certain types of beeding, hay and pellets (Oxbow and Mazuri). That's it. Anything else, I steer all my customers away from.

I need some advice about my eyes and lips? **PIC**?

Hi! How can I make my eyes and lips have a little more ';BAM';?!! I mean, what would be some good tips for making them more noticeable without it being overdone like for school or just everyday. I am 14.....almost 15 so a freshman in high school. Thanks!

i think you look stunning the way you are alreadyI need some advice about my eyes and lips? **PIC**?
black liquid liner and mascara with your skin tone will pop! That would look so sharp and pretty.

Pale shiny pink for the lips!

You are so naturally pretty it really wouldn't take much and almost any makeup will make your features pop!
omg you are so pretty!!! Really, you are like BAM without eye and lip make-up ;) I would just use a brown eyeliner, mascara too and some clear lip gloss if you want to, but you do not need it.
Okay hun, first you have awesome coloring, which means you can use just about any color. That being said I would focus on the ones that complement both your hair and eyes.

For blue eyes/blonde hair like you I would recommend outlining your eyes in a soft liner, using a color like this:

    http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>

Using a black with lighter hair and eyes usually comes off as too dark and heavy duty. Instead a darker smokey purple will both enhance your coloring and your eyes. Then cover the rest of your lid with a complementing light pink/purple, and finish with brown or black mascara.

And If you go with a 'BAM' eye look, I would stick to just a gloss for you lips, so as not to overdo it.
pale pinks go with blue eyes, but you can play them up with sparley eyeshadows! use a black eyeliner to rim the edges, use black mascara and make SURE you use an eyelash bruh to comb through after. otherwise you get that clumped up look that a lot of chavs have.

if you play up the eyes, dont draw attention to the lips. and vice versa. for your lips you could use a lip plumper (pale because you wouldnt suit dark or bright) and subtely use a glimmer of lip gloss in the middle of the top and lower lip to make your lips look full and sexy.

natural is always nice though so make sure you dont overboard it every day, save these for occasians when you feel a need to stand out.

neutral shades always look nice too and you can still play up the eyes and lips with that too, making you look both easy going and sexy

    good luck!

Add lip liner to your lip outline. it should be close to your lip color but a shade darker but natural( mauve color comes to mind).

Eyes: Eyebrow shaping will make your eyes more BAM.';?!! also add a gray or dark blue eye liner at the lower eye lid line. * avoid eyeliner at the corner of your eye near the nose as it is not good for your eyes.

    Hope it helps.

** NAtural is the best way to go for your age and school.:)

Mascara will be too much to add. Don't forget you are beautiful without any makeup.
Well, you already look hot. So there's not much you can do.

I guess some light blue eye-liner would look good along with some very light pink lip-stick or lip gloss. If it's too dark, it will look overdone.
Bright colour eyeliners! Like blue and pink will go with your hair!!

Wear mascara too, and maybe glitter dust on your eyes too.
Well, you could use a light blue-grayish eyeshadow for your eyes, and a eyeliner. - don't forget the mascara.

For your lips you could use a glossy lip gloss :D

    Hope I Helped

    Addie

    - you could also totally forget the eyeshadow and just go with the eyeliner and mascara :D
A brown eyeshadow and dark pink lip gloss.
some eye liner and some bright pink lip gloss man!

    you're very pretty btw
    Hi courty,

i would suggest a luminiser and apply this to your eye brows as well as the top of your cheek bones then the inner corners of your eyes as this has a slight glittery look it would make your eyes stand out as light would reflect of the luminiser

Also i would suggest a lip gloss with glitter in it i think jennifer lopez done a lovely pink one?
    Light tan eyeshadow

and a clear or light pink lipgloss
:k leave your face alone *angry face*

you have Natural beauty, don't fcuk with it! :D

    try like a blue eyeliner?

and some light pink gloss, just a tad.

    then youd look edible :P

Going to Avian Ab Italy, anyone got any suggestions or advice about the area or the housing, todo or see?

I lived in Sardinia for 3 1/2 years (island off the west coast of Italy). I suggest live in OFF-BASE housing if at all possible. You'll experience more of the Italian culture and enjoy your tour more that way. I was offered Navy housing, but several reasons made me turn it down. One, I was paying $89.00 a month for a fully furnished, 3 bedroom villa, overlooking Santa Teresa harbor and a 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach (I'd be giving up almost $400 a month BAH if I moved into Navy housing). Navy housing was on La Maddalena Island. I was on the main island. To get from La Mad to the main island we would have to fight the tourists for space on the ferry and depend on the weather in the fall/winter. On the main island, we could pack up and drive all over the island regardless of the time of day. There were many other reasons, also. But the best was not having daily contact with the locals. My son spoke 5 dialects (also sent him to a local kindergarten) of Italian, my wife learned Italian but spoke it with a southern American accent, and the English she taught to her Italian friends sounded like they lived in s.e. Virginia! I spoke Italian so well I often dreamed in Italian for years. My wife still keeps in LOOSE contact with a friend from down the street who she spent a lot of time with.

There are so many beautiful things to see and places to go in Italy. Don't miss a trip to Rome!

Do some internet searching now before you go.

  • What is some good advice your father told you about married life ?

My father told me to help my wife with the house work , but do an ok job if you do it too good it will be your job for life.

What tips do you have ?What is some good advice your father told you about married life ?
    He told me

~ Honor your vowels, love him as if there is no tomorrow %26amp; accept nothing less in return.

Tried all the above so instead I've bought a mood ring .... When I'm in a good mood it turns green, when I'm in a bad mood it leaves a large red mark on his forehead.

(It has been a good week for him)

My advice, dont give her any reasons to buy a mood ring.

; )What is some good advice your father told you about married life ?
    1) Don't punch your wife.

    2) If you're guilty, just nod and do everything she says. You'll get to sleep earlier.

    3) If she says, ';yes, you can go';, she means, ';you better not go';

    4) Kitchen, living, bedroom, everything belongs to her. The only thing that belongs to you is the garage, the toilet, and the TV remote. TV belongs to her when Oprah is on.

    5) Finish all chores by Friday night so you can watch Football on the weekends.

    6) If she ever asks, ';Is she pretty?';. ALWAYS say, ';Who?'; first and then reply, ';You're the only pretty one I see here';.

    7) NEVER laugh, when saying the above.

    8) If she ever asks, ';Can I ask you something?';...ALWAYS reply, ';No';, or run to the bathroom or...prepare to nod at everything and do everything she says.

    9) You know you're right, but don't ever let her catch you thinking that.

    10) Don't let her drive.
    Kiss like you mean it.
    This is more 'pre' married life, but when I was over there one night crying about my (so called) man, (who is my ex now) Anywho, my dad said, ';Do you realize you're trying to raise a 23 yr old man? His parents didn't teach him right from wrong when he was young, do you honestly think you're going to be able to teach him now? Make him the man you want him to be? If you think you can, then quit crying and go home. If you don't, then it's over.';

It took me a while to listen, but he was right. That was over 10 yrs ago and he still hasn't grown up. Very sad.
*Yes Dear* is always an appropriate answer - no matter the circumstances :)
Well, before I got married, my daddy told me there are actually 3 rings in marriage.

    The engagement ring

    The wedding ring

    Then the suffering...

Been married over 6 years and still haven't come across the suffering though...
i've never gotten any marriage advice from either of my parents. either they think i'm smart and don't need it or they just don't give a toss.
    ';always agree with her or else you will be sleepin in the couch'; so far I have NEVER slept in the DOGHOUSE lol';

    ';Never tell her she is fat';

    lol
make sure i show who is boss. so far its worked out. if you divorce a woman, don't get another woman because that means you have 2 problems
He told me to love unconditionally!! So I am when I get married!!
No cheesy things to get her to marry you.
My fathers gives advice like Homer Simpson. He told me to marry for looks, and not to have kids because they are more worry than they are worth. Obviously I learnt early on not to take his advice!
My dad didn't give me any advice, my mom said not to do it, I should have listened! Not to marry him that is, not in general.
Thats great advice your dad gave! no wonder my husband does half a** job j/k i luv my husband. well my grandpa raised me and he has been married 64 yrs and best advice i learned from him was that a husband should kiss his wife every day when on way to work and coming home to give a woman nurting love. My tip is use divorce as last resort, marriage isnt a chore it should be fun and challenging.
    It will never last sweet.
Don't get married if you can help it!!-- my Dad

My advice: Start a marriage on a good foundation. commitment, communication, love, trust, and respect.
Tip #1. Avoid married life at all costs.
Dont get married until your 40.
None that I can repeat here. My father was a dirty old man.
    Don't do it.
    dont
My father told me not to do it.

    It's not 'bad' advice.
    buy her a huge ring
My dad told me to always dress nice for my husband. I do!

Thinking about studying law by distance any advice?

I want to start a law and business degree next year by distance. I work full time and have an 18 month old son but i know that i can fit it in and be good at it. It will take 6 years at which time i will be 30 years old. Do you think the job prospects would be good at that time as i currently work in finance so i would have had no law experienceThinking about studying law by distance any advice?
I'm getting my masters from a local university-all online. Pick a reputable university or college, but be aware, competition is keen to get into law school, and getting a job as a lawyer is also very competitive. But the US Dept of Labor says the job outlook is still good for lawyers:

Employment of lawyers is expected to grow about as fast as average for all occupations through 2014, primarily as a result of growth in the population and in the general level of business activities. Job growth among lawyers also will result from increasing demand for legal services in such areas as health care, intellectual property, venture capital, energy, elder, antitrust, and environmental law. In addition, the wider availability and affordability of legal clinics should result in increased use of legal services by middle-income people.

However, growth in demand for lawyers will be limited as businesses, in an effort to reduce costs, increasingly use large accounting firms and paralegals to perform some of the same functions that lawyers do. For example, accounting firms may provide employee-benefit counseling, process documents, or handle various other services previously performed by a law firm. Also, mediation and dispute resolution increasingly are being used as alternatives to litigation.

More good new: Perhaps as a result of competition for attorney positions, lawyers are increasingly finding work in nontraditional areas for which legal training is an asset, but not normally a requirement鈥攆or example, administrative, managerial, and business positions in banks, insurance firms, real estate companies, government agencies, and other organizations. Employment opportunities are expected to continue to arise in these organizations at a growing rate.

A combo of law and business sounds like a great choice!

Good luck!Thinking about studying law by distance any advice?
    i assume you're 24

lots of law students are that age internationally,

(here in australia, most graduate by their 22 :) although i wont coz im 20 now)

doing a double degree in your circumstances is going to be tough

postgrads take law more seriously than undergrads and they work harder too, but dont always get the better mark

if you want to do that double degree, dont study full time, take it easy, and your son wants you too

my advice is to make friends at uni quickly, and get access to notes so you dont have to read heaps of textbooks, and find a decent person to help you out-

in 1st year i was helping out postgrads in my class- there were 3 of them- they all thought i was a legend, - also i met people online who helped me out too- my contacts were great and i still help younger students when they are really lost and dont know what to do.

    which country are u in?

email me if u want more info

edit: 1st year is always a pain but the workload decreases over time- so dont think its going to keep being that hard always... my HS teacher tried to do law, but he got another son and decided to stop after 1 semester
in order to be allowed to take your state bar exam to become a lawyer you must have graduated from approved ABA law school, now i have heard of night school but never one where it was just correspondence
Go for it girl! I wanted to study law sooo bad.

I'm going to have my first violin recital about 2 weeks from now. Any useful advice?

Keep going no matter what happen. People understand that a recital is a lot of pressure, and they will understand if you mess up a bit. If I mess up, i just try to play even better the rest of the song so people wont remember that part where you messed up. I know this is cliche-ish, but just have fun. a recital is not a thing to stress about a lot, just show them what you got.

P.S. my teacher tells me to practice all my pieces really slow for a week before the recital and to not even play it fast even once until like a day before. don't practice a lot on the day of, just relax and listen to a recording of your song to know how you're supposed to play.

oh, and you should record or tape yourself so you know where you mess up and if your sound is good.I'm going to have my first violin recital about 2 weeks from now. Any useful advice?

You don't really need to take anything to help your episiotomy heal. An anti inflammatory like ibuprofen to reduce swelling and soak the perineum in a warm sitz bath to improve circulation which will speed healing.

If you are unsure about what medications or herbal supplements are safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding, talk to your pharmacist or your physician / midwife or lactation consultant.

Hi im 15 and i need girl advice about my time of the month.?

i was j/w if the first time you use a tampon and it hurts a lil, is that normal?Hi im 15 and i need girl advice about my time of the month.?
I used a tampon the very first time I ever got my period. If you have a heavy period then use bigger tampons, if it's really light use slender or regular. and it probably hurts because you put it in wrong, or you take it out to early or something.

good luck.Hi im 15 and i need girl advice about my time of the month.?
Yes, it's perfectly normal. If it hurt a fair amount, it's possible that it broke your hymen. That usually occurs when you lose your virginity, but it can happen from other things such as tampon use. It would also most likely cause slight bleeding, but if you have your period anyway you probably wouldn't notice. Whether it broke your hymen or not, it's perfectly normal. It hurt for me the first time.
If you are a virgin, sure, it will hurt. You will get used to it though. I suggest using tampons REGULAR or LIGHT if you can...

I used tampons ever since I started my period at 10. And I was obviously a virgin.

Also, if you are not inserting them correctly that can cause some discomfort. You will get used to it.
Of course it's gonna hurt a little for the first time. My 10 year old daughter has swimming classes and it kind of did hurt for her. Well I'll only really recommend tampons for heavy flows.
it hurt me the first time so im sticking with pads for now ^^
yes it may hurt a little but after a while in using them you will get into using them,, i have and im 14 =] x
Yeah it's normal, try using light tampons.

tampax pearl are a really good starter tampon because they're easy to use.
    yes

Help need some advice about my cavalier king charles dog?

Hi ,i have a cavalier king charles who is 13 weeks old ,ever since i got him at 7 and a half weeks old i have been trying to train him to go to the toilet outside ,i took his newspapers out of his crate 2 weeks ago and he is brilliant at night ,i get up every 3 or 4 hours and take him outside and he has been so good only a couple of accidents in his cage but that is to be expected,my problem is during the day ,i have to take him out every hour which i dont mind but sometimes if he is playing with the kids ,like last night i had only just taken him outside and a couple of minutes later he poos on the floor,i am always praising him ,you never have to tell him off if he does something wrong i say no in the same voice ,i dont shout out him ,he needs to understand no and he is good ,he doesnt circle to give you time to get him out he just poos,he only does this when he is playing with kids ,they let him jump on them i heard somewhere if you let your dog jump on you they think there boss ???Help need some advice about my cavalier king charles dog?
I would recommend putting a little desk bell at the door. EVERY time you go out with him, tap the desk bell. After a few times, you can take his foot and tap the bell and praise him, big time..Each time he goes outside, either tap the bell or have him do it..You can use kitten kibble for training treats, as they are tiny and won't ruin his appetite.

Cavalier King Charles are very smart. He should soon catch on to tapping the bell, getting his praise or treat, and asking to be let out.

Also, ROUTINE is very helpful in house training a puppy. Feed him 3 times per day at the very same time, and remove his dish as soon as he turns away from it..Note when he has to go after eating, and take him just before that time..(it should be within 30 minutes) Also, walking him on a leash will keep him more focused on 'going'. as you aren't allowing him to play until he does it. Walking stimulates the bowels to move more than just wondering around the yard.

Allowing a puppy to jump on them isn't going to encourage dominance, but will encourage poor behavior. he will think it ok to jump on visitors, snag stockings, and get people muddy. Do have the kids stop allowing him to jump on them.. all they need to do is tell him 'no jump' and ignore him if he continues.. he is jumping out of enthusiasm, and it is normal.. but, if they ignore him when he persists, then he will soon learn that it doesn't get him attention, but just the opposite.Help need some advice about my cavalier king charles dog?
13 weeks is still very young. He may be able to hold it, but when he needs to go, he needs to go NOW, when he's having a really good time, like playing with the kids, he doesn't think about it until it's too late %26amp; then he has to go!

Sounds as if you're doing everyhthing right, you just have to be patient. Try watching him when he is indoors, he probably will give you a sign that he wants to out, but it will be very subtle. It might only be a quick glance at the door where he usually goes. Our puppy just sits in a particular place %26amp; stares at us!

KCKS are very sweet dogs, I wouldn't worry about him jumping on the kids unless he starts getting too rough with them. You don't say how old they are but, under your guidance, get them to do some basic obedience with him (one at a time, obviously %26amp; away from distractions) Just a couple of minutes, teaching him to sit, down, come etc.
k,, no papers in crate,,, make sure crate isn't too big... you don't want him to pee on one side , sleep on the other,,, try feedin him only 2 times a day... morning and evening,,, take him out last thing at night ( the latest you can) and first thing in morning.. he should very well be able to hold it for 6 - 7 hours at night.... bring him in after peeing in morning , feed him and right back out immediately for poops... he should then be fine for awhile in the house,,, then back out after naps, playing, etc... also,,,, try switching to a premium dog food,,, feed only dry kibble moistened with some warm water... no canned etc.. it could very well be poor quality food that is giving him the poopies... good luck..... cavvies are nice dogs.
ok,I have a king charles but you say papers in crate is it his bed?

Dogs do not go to the toilet in their bed and maybe he's getting mixed signals about this ,treat the cage as his bed last thing at night bring him outside once he has gone to toilet get him into his crate for bed ,it should just be a nice blanket or pillow in morning it should be dry.

During day if he needs sleep again put him the crate as it is his bed he shouldn't do anything in it.

After eating he should be allowed out and after waking he should be let out.

The pooing last night you say you let him out, its ok letting him out but make sure he has done his business ,when he is going Say ';go potty'; and even be beside him and give him a little treat mine loves cubes of cheese.

This will take a while but soon you will be able to open door and say go potty and he will go instead of a run around and not go.

When he does go in the house what i did was say bad dog and stick outside straight away this was in early days but was rare.

He is just playing with the kids and will be all over them although as he grows it could be annoying if hes dirty paws and jumps up and dirtys your clothes just a light push down ,look for a puppy trainer king charles can be hard to train and a nightmare of the lead ,they are bad with traffic and birds can send them daft .

Before going out say for an hour let him outside and then bring in and lock in crate till you get back all he will do is sleep.
Well, when a dog exercises, it helps them go poo. As he gets older, he can hold it longer, but you'll have to build him up to this. It sounds like you've really got a good dog.
The way we've trained puppies in the past is to encourage them to go on a newspaper near to where they sleep at night. Then day by day move the newspapers closer to the back door. This has an effect of teaching them that the back door is connected with them wanting to go. Leave the newspapers by the back door for about a week, then move them just outside the door. Your puppy should then become a little agitated that the newspapers are not there. Once you open the door your puppy will see the newspaper and hopefully start using it outside. After around another week move the newspapers to a more suitable area in the garden. After a little time your puppy will learn to only go outside and the newspapers won't be needed anymore. Don't forget to give plenty of praise. I hope this helps you.

We had a Cavalier King Charles and he was adorable - we miss him. We now have a Bichon Frise and she's a crazy little thing - a white, fluffy whirlwind!

    Good luck to you.
