I need advice about my babys dad?

Im fifteen and im eight months pregnant back in december i found out that my childs father in really 31 years of age. he keeps calling from jail and i do not want to talk to him.I told the detective and he said he would stop him from calling but he hasent what should i do. I do not want him in my or my childs life and im getting to far along to be stressing over things like this. Where is our goverments heads at????I need advice about my babys dad?
This joker belongs in prison... You were 15 at the time and you were not of the age of consent... This guy needs to be charged with statutory rape of a child and locked up in prison for a few years... The DA should file these charges automatically without you having to file them because of your age... This is the way I understand TN Law... Other states are similar... You need to talk with an attorney and find out what the laws of your state are...





As far as him calling you from jail, you can file for an order of protection (no contact order) through the courts... I would also suggest that you have included in the order, that the jail he is in, notify you before hand if he is to be released so you can find a safe place to go... I'm not trying to scare you but just give you some useful information from a former corrections officer to try to help you out...





Also, you can check with the jail where he is housed and see if they have the type of phone system that allows phone number blocking... They may be able to add your number to a database that won't allow your number to be called... Some facilities have systems like this... When he calls you is the call charged to your bill and do you have to accept the call?





You can also change your home phone number and make sure that it is unlisted and not available through directory assistance either...





I used to work in corrections and every call that an inmate made from my facility was preceded by an operators message stating that the call was from an inmate at the **** correctional facility... Would you like to accept the call? You can then decline the call and the inmate will be disconnected...





If you can get the no contact order, then you can complain to the court every time he attempts to call you and they will file contempt of court charges against him...

Dont charge him like everyone is saying YOU WERE WILLING RIGHT? It would be wrong to charge him if your parents or someone else does it its diffrent but not you. Also the age of consent in the majority if states is 16.
You are in a tough situation, don't let these people get you down. If you say you didn't know the age of the guy until later, then that's not your fault, and it is called statutory rape. Regardless if you're too young to have sex and to be a mom, that's all crossed now. The most important thing is to think about your safety. Try to get full custody. The guy's in jail now and he may have a say in how this baby will be raised. I had a situation as well where I dated a guy who went to jail and continuously harassed me through collect calls. Just don't accept the collect calls and you can even try to change your number. Our government is trying the best they can to make sure that everyone's safe. At least he's in jail for whatever he did. Just the child part is the riskiest part, because you can't deny your child the right to know his/her father, only unless you can prove that he's not safe for the kid.
Our government cannot be responsible for every person. You need to make a statement to the police department that you were raped (you cannot have consentual sex under the age of 18 in most states). Then you also need to get an order of protection that this man cannot go near you or call you. His phone calls to you will become part of his record. Finally you need to figure out what you're going to do with the baby. If you keep the baby, you will have a continual and constant contact the baby's father unless he renounces paternity.

Thats a tuff situation. He is the dad and has right to his kid but your only fifteen and he should be in jail for that because your a kid also! I will just call a lawyer! See what they say!
ok... if you didnt have a problem with the guy before you knew he was 31... then what is the problem...? and how do you mistake somebody being younger than 31... seriously... you had sex with him... now you have to deal with it... you delt the cards... so play your hand! Statatory rape is crap... at 15 you should be able to decide who you want to sleep with... and you decided to sleep with a 31 year old... so he shouldn't even be in prision... besides.. how did you even get the chance to have sex at 15 let alone have sex with a 31 year old... where were your parents? they let you get into this situation... so i guess they'll have to help you get out of it!... good luck... i fell sorry for your baby having to grow up in this messed up situation... its called birth control, condems... learn how to use them!

Well 16 or 31, he is still the babies dad. Unless you were raped (totally against your will and forced, not just because your underage) he should be in your babies life. When he gets out of jail he can help with child support. Yeah hes old and you feel dirty or whatever, but still- you had sex with him, right? At least allow him to pay child support! And how fair is it to your child to grow up without a daddy just because you think hes old. (this is all if you didnt get forcefully raped)
Change your number, but how are you out sleeping with someone and you don't know how old they are? What else don't you know about this guy? The detective could care less about him calling you or trying to get him to stop. You are right about being to far pregnant and stressing about this.
