I recently graduated from a bartending school and would like some advice on how to go about finding a job?

the best websites for bartending jobs?

and any other advice you'd be willing to share that would help me with bartending would be great.I recently graduated from a bartending school and would like some advice on how to go about finding a job?
They didn't give you a job sheet? I graduated a year ago and they give us constant heads up on who's hiring. Never just go in and ask, call first, ask to speak to a manager, then ask if they're hiring and what would be the best time to come pick up an application. All this information was in the back of my bartending guide.I recently graduated from a bartending school and would like some advice on how to go about finding a job?
The best way is to take your resume and actually walk into the bars you want to work at during the day and at a time when they're not really busy and talk to the manager yourself. You'll have a huge advantage over people who mail their resumes in or apply online.
Typically the best way to go is trying to get a bartending job at a restaurant. Somewhere such as Chili's, Applebees, Red Lobster, etc) those types of places seem to be the most willing to give a newcomer a chance.
I'm in the same boat as you right now. I find craigslist to be a lot of help. I'm really beginning to think it was a bad idea, the job placement they provided was no help at all.
Go to a bar and ask for a job.
